Our track team is on fire! 🔥 Congratulations to Fernando Manriquez (3rd Place 400m), Jose Luis Dionicio (3rd Place 400m & 4th Place 300m hurdles) — both qualifying for State in their individual events! 🏆 And huge shoutout to our 4x400 relay team — Diego Figueroa, Jose Luis Dionicio, Fernando Manriquez, and Diego Murillo — for taking 2nd place and punching their ticket to State! 🏃‍♂️💨 Proud of all your hard work and heart. Art Club members visited La Nube in El Paso—a hands-on museum where creativity and curiosity collide! 🎨🔬✨

Our Student Government and Art students teamed up to craft colorful paper mache Easter eggs for the animals at the El Paso Zoo! 🐣🎨 Huge thanks to Ms. Portillo and volunteer coordinator Toni Lopez for making it happen (and for the newspaper!). The eggs will be filled with treats for the animals. 🐾🍬

Our Track & Field athletes showed up strong at the TAPPS District Meet in Fort Worth! 💪🏽🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Six of our runners are headed to the regional meet in two weeks! Danya Saenz — 4th in the 100m dash Sarita Castro — 4th in the 1600m run Jose Luis Dionicio - 4th in the 800m and 4th in the 300m Hurdle 4x400 Relay Team (Fernando Manriquez, Jose Luis Dionicio, Diego Murillo, Diego Figueroa) — 2nd place finish 🥈 And a huge shoutout to Fernando Manriquez, our new district champion in the 400m! 🥇🔥 Way to represent! Let’s go get it at regionals! 🚀

Our seniors had an awesome visit to the Physics Department at UTEP! 🧪⚛️ They toured the labs, learned all about what physics is through a fun presentation and trivia game, met some amazing professors and grad students, and even created waves using gummies and sticks! 🌊🍬 Big thanks to UTEP for the goodie bags and great memories!
